ABOUT RFYBS

A sign at a little league baseball park

River Forest, Illinois is a western suburb of Chicago that consists of about 11,000 residents. Its youth baseball league - River Forest Youth Baseball & Softball or RFYBS, is popular and successful. Generations of villagers have donated their time, treasure and talent to create a wonderful program for our children. Unfortunately, its current president is Greg White.

RFYBS is a 503(c) non-profit charity that operates in concert with the River Forest Park District and Little League International. RFYBS is also compelled to follow the rules and  regulations of Little League International, Illinois laws regarding charitable trusts, and the Internal Revenue Service.

In case you were wondering, this website was created by a group of former coaches, sponsors and RFYBS board members whom are critical of Greg White's leadership of the league.  We have contributed hundreds of hours, thousands of dollars and all of our baseball and softball knowledge to improving the league throughout the years.  Unlike current board members, we do not believe that White's bad behavior should be swept under the rug even though he has done good things in the past. This website was created to inform villagers how corrupt the league has become under White's leadership and how to improve it.
